The person before me was in a collision and the fan shroud on the left (passenger side) had been cracked. it is now zip-tied together and from what i can see the blades of the fan have been trimmed to not rub. It is zip-tied together and zip-tied on the top to secure it.

also the fan on the right (driver side) has been zip-tied and has been wired where i have to turn it on by a switch for it to run. I do not know much about the wiring and i don't know where i would plug the fan in in order for it to run automatically.

my questions are:
Is this safe?
Does anyone have a link to the wiring or can tell me how to run the wires for the fan on the right?
Should i replace the fan on the left and the shroud?
Are aftermarket fancy fans worth it to install? such as this http://www.jegs.com/i/Flex-a-lite/400/1319/10002/-1







Sorry for the lame terms. I'm not too mechanical and I bought my Cherokee to learn.
