Radiator fan
Debating on if I should put a mechanical one on( my jeep didn't have one when I bought it) and run just one electrical 97+ fan. Or if I should go ahead and run 2 97+ fans. Thoughts?

Mechanical fan is the main fan and will move way more air than the efan at just above idle speed. I'd suggest re-installing the mechanical fan before next summer.

We experimented with a heavy duty fan clutch.....constant noise/roar....went back to stock/standard duty clutch. Just about any auto parts store sells fan clutches.

I see a nice fan that doesn't require a clutch, are there cons to doing this? I know it would cool alot better, but would I possibly be overcooling in the winter?(I live in north Texas so it does get pretty cold here for a couple months) and it says its for clockwise rotation, how do I know which way my fan turns? It's a 92 4.0 4x4 manual tranny

Cons:
Wastes gas/power
Constant noise
Pros:
Cheap is about it
Clutch fan is the way to go. No fan will "over cool" with a properly functioning t-stat.
