Radiator
Long story short, going to replace my girlfriend's fan clutch but have to remove radiator to have enough clearance. 1st pic is the top. 2nd is the bottom. Just how would you guys go about removing these lines?

Transmission cooler lines, unscrew the very last nut on the end (where the line goes out). Keep in mind transmission fluid will start pouring out when you do this, so get something to catch it. Don't forget that you will need to top up the automatic transmission fluid when you put this all back together.
Honestly though, I wouldn't want you to work on my car if you didn't know what transmission cooler lines were

Yeah. I know those are transmission lines. Scroll over the pics and you can see I named them as such. Anyways, the reason why I ask is beacuse when I go and turn the nut the line starts to move with it and looks as if it might get a permanent crink in the line. Namely the top trans line.

It may not be needed for a cherokee but we dont know if this is a cherokee. although i dont see why you would need to remove the rad for any fan clutch but who knows. so what vehicle is it that you are removing this from?
Spray with penetrating oil, let sit. Then, using a *line wrench* slowly rock the fitting back and forth.
Then some more penetrating oil. Then rock the fitting some more.
Hopefully it will begin to free up and you'll be able to remove it.
If it absolutely won't budge, you have three options:
1) cut it off at the fitting and re-flare the line. If there is enough slack.
2) cut it off and replace the entire line.
3) cut the line about 3-4" from the connector. Then patch back together with a chunk of flexible hose & clamps.

Looks like the lines and or rad were just replaced recently. Not sure how they would be binding so bad. If you don't want to listen to the guys who know best above, those lines will only move with the nut until it is loose.
The top line is best removed with the nut on the tranny line. That shouldnt give you any problems unless the rad or line were forced into place, causing the nut to bind onto the line. The bottom line you can either use the disconnect tool for the line, or remove the brass fitting. support the piece of line that you think will be crushed, it will only move a tiny bit until the fitting is loosened. IIRC all those nuts spin independently and have the flared tube inside.
