Default r13a modern refrigrant in r12 compressor?

My 1991 Jeep Cherokee's compressor blew so I salvaged one from a junk yard. The compressor is normally filled with r12 but I want to know if there are compatabbility issues if I were to fill it with the modern stuff, I think it's 134a. How can I get it filled without costing me alot of money? Any help or advice is appreciated.

Just get conversion kit from a parts house. Just need to replace o-rings and the oil.

just remember that you cant just put it in there, you have to have a vaccum pump and create a vaccum or else it will just cause leaks, you probably already knew that though
