I looked for my fuel filter and this is what I found. A previous owner rigged this and I guess it is an electric fuel pump or something like that. I did not see the fuel filter. Does anyone know what all this is and how and why they would install it? Any opinions are appreciated. Thank you Sandyman

Fuel pump & filter are located in the tank.

Don't know what that is in your picture, but the Cherokee fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and is not serviceable without dropping the tank. Its not supposed to need changing, unlike the earlier models.

If you knew where and WHO I got this jeep from you would understand. That ad said to be installed by a qualified technician. I can assure you that is NOT the case here. Thank you for finding this. I appreciated it. O man why why

Just read their closing bullet point " If you can't breathe, nothing else matters" PTL they put this on.
