Quick Trans Question
I am going on a trip in a few days and i recently noticed that when i gun my jeep, it will not shift once the rpms get up to the red, however as soon as i let off the gas even just halfway or less it will shift, and when driving normally it shifts fine, i never really have driven my jeep hard to the point of getting near the red so im not sure if its always done this and im just paranoid because of a trip, my dad says its fine since our explorer does the exact same thing for all the years we've had it, so i just wanted to be sure before i go on a week long trip that its all good, thx for your time

Adjust your TV cable, if that doesnt fix it, dont worry about it.
To adjust the TV cable you:
1: Push in and hold the release button
2: While holding in release button, push "conduit" in as far as it will go
3: Release button
4: Rotate throttle to WOT, some people do this with the gas pedal. Others do it from the engine compartment.
5: Hold at WOT for a few seconds, cable should ratchet out a click or two.
6: Your TV cable should now be properly adjusted, take it for a test ride.
