Are the boots and little spring inside the plug boots clipped onto the spark plug on the bottom side of coil pack. You'll have to pull them to make sure thats the only way.Check all your fuse's in the distrubution box (Black box by battery) keeping an eye on the one for the starting. You can unplug one and swap it for a known good one the big fuse's are the same. Also check all other's and grounds 3 of them i beleive ,one one battery to fender, another on the side of block behind and lower than ac pump, finally drivers side on the backend of head to firewall, check and clean. Also recheck the connection of the coil pack.

Sir...I understand your plight, so keep an open mind and lets get analytical about this ok?
Ok, several things here.....

coil/pack..... or possibly,,,

CPS crank position sensor.......Now, on this forum there are some really good write ups on how to check it (thorough search on the forum will get you the data you need)....however,,,,mucho experience says yours might be shot therefore getting no spark. so might need to get one, but get from JEEp dealer..(many folks here can vouch for that statement!)
(its a lil' magnetic pickup which is bolted to the bell housing of the transmission between the engine and trans on the dirver side top of the motor, in case you were wondering where is is. and while you are at it inspecting check to make sure none of those wires came into contact with the motor or exhaust manifold...).

Yeah, as previous posters were saying, check the relays, check all the grounds, condition of battery terminals, etc...

I wish you best of luck sir!

if i was you i'd get the alternator tested at a parts store (usually free) and do a hydrometer test on your battery (much like a coolant test but for your battery and a different tool)
