Quick question about rear leaf ubolts
My rear ubolts for my leafs, the thread sticks out about an inch or so above the nut, if I unbolt them and put thread lock on them is that finr if I cut the bolt flush with the nut? Also could does anyone have the ubolt size, the rearend is a d35. Thanks

I believe the tube size for a Dana 35 is 2.62"
I've never used thread lock on u-bolts because wen you install new ones, you have to check and re-torque several times as they stretch.
After they are torqued correctly, I have heard of of people cutting them almost flush and boogering up the top threads to "lock" them.
