Default Quick question

Ok just a quick question. I'm making the homebrew sway bar discos and can't get the lower torx bolt out. It seems to be seized to the bracket. I have tried everything. What should I do? Kinda lame I know but I'm stuck. Bfg wouldn't work so I don't know what's next.

Awesome. May sound dumb but those little portable torches work fine for this right? That's all I can get my hands on. Ha

It's pressed in, so you have to press it out. the torx head is to hold it when you press it in by tightening the nut.

Heat and BFH will work, pressing is easier.

leave the nut on so u dont mess up the threads and grab the 16lbs BFH heat it till its red or with a propane torch 4 a couple of min. map gas would work best alot hotter it would turn it cherry red, then grab ur 16 lb BFH and whack the nit a few times heat the busshing not the nut/bolt (that will only enlagre them and make it harder heatint he busshing makes it expand and lossen on the bolt) good luck to ya hope it comes out so i can see wht it looks like.... my bolt on top is messed up so i have to come up with a diff setup theres a link in my thread about it!!!

I used a pitman arm puller on mine (after about 20 mins with the BFH and no success), pushed it out like it was'nt hardly in there.

Ok well since this one is answered I have another. I have searched and searched but to no avail. I'm getting ready to do my bump stops and need to know how to figure how to use the correct ones. Like how do I find measurements and everything for how long or what size to use? I just can't find the info anywhere. Anyone gotta a good link for this?

I use a C-clamp and deep socket, to press them out. Ball joint press will work also.
