Default Quick fuel pump question

I think my fuel pump died on me today. I bought one off of ebay for $30 shipped. I have a friend of mine who used to have an XJ and he thinks that I can get it out without dropping the tank. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks for the help guys!

Adam

All I have worked on are Rennys, so I'm not sure about the HOs. On mine, you can access the pump w/out dropping the tank. Like I said, I'm not sure if that is different on HO 4.0 liters. HTH!!

Look at it,you will be able to see if it is able to be done without pulling the tank.
