Default quick front drive shaft ?

92 XJ

vehicle in park, not running, 4wd not engaged. I have about 45 degrees of play in the shaft when i turn it. Is this normal ?

is it in the u-joint or the trans and axle?

It's in the axle or transfer case

Never replied sorry, but it should be okay I would change the fluid in the front diff to check for anything broken but the shaft is in "free spool" when the transfer case is in 2wd (for the trans side) but the axle side shouldn't move that much o wouldn't think... Let me know...
