Quick bastard pack question..
Do you use a 4wd or 2wd rear spring from an S10? Do the 95+ S10's springs have the built on clamps?
I'm doing my install this weekend and debating if I want to run the AAL for a little while or go with the Bastard pack. Ultimately it will come down to money saved.. my local salvage place quoted me $55 per spring for a 95 s10 but on car-part.com they list it for $20 per spring so I'm gonna have to do some arguing..

A bastard pack is a set of combined springs...jeep main leaf and the balance of the springs are from the doner. S10's work great. I made mine from some s10 springs the year was not important to me. I picked up new U bolts at a spring shop, center bolts and they had some some do it yourself spring clamps that just rapped around the spring then put the top on it then bend over the extra to hold in place. They have worked great.

Use the heavy duty 4 leaf pack from the early style S10. 3 curved leaves and one flat
