Default Questions about wheels & tires, imagine that.

I want to get some treadwrights. I noticed that their 235/75r15 are only like 1/4" smaller (diameter) that their 30"ers. I have heard some say 30's rub like a beotch (30x9.5 I believe), others say none at all, should I make some measurements to see if I could run 30's. Any if I get a 1" lift, will I need new shocks?

Also, could I run 235/75r15 on soft 8's? Because I plan on getting 31" in a few months but I need new tires now for the winter.

I am so confused about everything!

On the lift/shock question you can go upto 2" without the need of buying new shocks. So if yo add just a 1" lift your stock shocks will work fine.

As for tires the main concern is rubbing CA's, coils and sometimes the fenders..30's should work fine..I had 30's on a 2" lift and had plenty of room that I could of ran them at stock height. Now if you ad 1" of lift you will have no issues what so ever and it will look a touch better.
