Questions about a 96 Cherokee
Ive had this problem when the weather changes. It runs 100% fine above 75 degrees. When it gets colder it runs bad.
My jeep attempts to turn over, but doesnt start.
If i give it some gas it will stay on till i release the pedal then it will stall.
I changed my tps, it was already going out, but didnt sove the problem.
I have also changed the spark plugs and gaped, then spark wires.
Im not sure if my O2 sensors have ever been changed.
Can anyone give me any ideas on what to test? Im average with cars, but new at testing the currents. So if you could be as specific as possible it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Test fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a fuel pressure gauge. That'd be where I would start. Then get the battery load tested at your local auto parts store (they should be able to do this for free).
Ive had both of those, my pressure rail squirts and i already tested the bat.

Did yu check the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge. Just seeing if it "squirts" is not a reliable way of checking it. You do need to have a certain amount of pressure to operate. I don't recall what the pressure required for it is at the top of my head but maybe someone else can post what it is.

I doubt my o2 sensors have ever been changed.
My Jeep just hit 200k.
Also my Down stream o2(the one connected to cat) had some messed up wiring that a threw back together. Could that be the problem?
