Dont know if I am on the right thread, but will try anyway. New to the forums. Redirect me if wrong.
I have a 98 Grand Cherokee, 5.2 l, 8 cylinder. The battery keeps running down. I took a V/A meter and put it in series with the positive terminal of the battery, and it read 0.0 mA. My understanding is that there should be some parasitic draw for radio presets, clock, etc. Anything that requires holding a memory. The local mechanic said I should see .5 mA for the normal parasitic draw. This is embarrassing since I am an old electronic tech, but need to fix issue. Should I go to the fuse block input and measure there?
