I am looking to order my lift this week. I have $600 at the most to spend on the lift alone. I am thinking either the RC 3" series 2 with the leaf packs or the RE 3.5"..... Please help me decide. I'm not looking to make an off road machine but going for more of the looks but still want it safe. Rather not have to spend money on a SYE either. Thanks in advanced.....

I have a 94 XJ with the RE3.5" super ride kit with leaf packs. Got 4.5"/5" from it. Had to add a 1" spacer in front to level it. I'm very happy with the kit. 4wheelonline.com has it now for $555 free shipping. I did have to use an SYE kit and new rear shaft and 6 degree shims in rear. They say all XJs are differant. There is a picture if you click on my profile. I Can take the Jeep apart but I can't move that picture.?? Running 33x10.50x15s. Good luck

DEFINITELY go with the Rubicon Express over the Rough Country.

 

X2 on RE, if you can afford it. They are more pricey than RC.
