Question: Cost of Replacing Front & Rear Differential Seals?
Both front and rear pinion seals are leaking and both axle shaft seals are leaking. The price seamed a little high. The one shop said about $500 for both axle seals and $500 to go both pinion seals. Thanks to everyone who replied I appreciate it!!
I'll just have to hold my breath and take the pain of dishing out the money. The seals need to be fixed and unfortunately I don't have enough time or knowledge to attempt replacing them.

Suppose you mean the front axles. Seriously, a mobile mechanic might save you real $ there. Also if it spins into U Joints or whatever you have there, major savings. I likely could do the two $15 U Joints, and the two $5 seals in a day. @ $ 25/Hr + parts, $250 Total. (+ oil and a tube of RTV) Dominoes falling right, could take 1/2 that time. Just rambling here..I really do not like shops. (there should be an " I spit on you satin" Emocon.
No comment on the pinion seals, (and bearings?), both front and back. You say "preload" or "crush washer" and I'm about out of it.
