question on adding extra lights

I want to add 4 pro comp 55wat lights to my cherokee. what will this do to the electrical system? What else do I need to do? I,m sure this a dumb question but I have never added lights before. Thanks Reagan

You should be alright but you may notice some dimming at some times. If you do need to do something I would recommend a better battery (optima yellow top) and some better wires.

I have had a number of offroaders locally tell me to get a deep cycle marine battery and just upgrade my battery cables to a thicker gauge and should be ok...The more you add the bigger the battery needs to be..

If you decide to get bigger cables we have a member that has a business that makes those. He is 5-90 look him up and he has several kits already made up depending on your year and application.
