question about hatch position and potential stress cracks
My hatch had always rubbed on the left side trim in the cargo area(see picture below)
Attachment 222306
And I think I found the problem but I have no idea how to fix it. It looks as though my hatch falls to the left side lower than the right
Here's the right side
And here's the left. See the drop?
How do I fix that? Is my unibody tweaked from wheeling?
Also here's some pictures of the inside of the door jams on the upper right corners. Are these cracks in the metal or just paint?
Does anybody else have these cracks?
And here's some where the gutter mounts end at the hatch opening

I'm dealing with this right now... My tailgate sags on the left, so I took it off and bent the hinge back up. But let me tell you, it is a pain in the ***. Those torx bolts that hold it on are the crappiest things ever. Be careful to go slow when taking them out. They'll snap or strip on you real easy. Ask me how I know. Haha. If you can manage it, it's a lot easier to take them off the body side rather than the tailgate side. As for those cracks, I don't know. You'll have to figure that out on your own. Sorry.
Hope this helps!

Thanks guys! I'll try to adjust/bend them back.
And the more I look at the cracks they just look like the paint is cracked( its 25yr old paint) from the unibody flexing but the metal actually looks okay. I just want Ted to know if anybody else had that happen
