Question about gearbox bearing

Question about gearbox bearing
Hi!
I live in Sweden, and is currently restoring an ´86 2 door XJ 2.5 Litre.
I'm rebuildning the clutch, and also changing the seal in the input shaft in the gearbox. The big bearing that is located on the input shaft (see picture) seems to have a play.
(I'm sorry if my English is a bit bad)
Is it normal with a play on about 1,5 milimeters up/down on this bearing if I rock the shaft, or should I imediately change the bearing?
