I have a 98 2 door with the split back window that allows people in the back to open it up. My question is, can I take the windows out and replace it with a full window? The pictures below show mine, and an example of how I wish it was. Any advise would be appreciated, thanks. Not sure if im posting this in the right section so please move it if it is.

I am 99% sure they are interchangeable.
There may be a bolt or rivot holding the vent window frame, IIRC.
Pull rear glass, pull vent window and frame, replace with new rubber and glass.
Always easier if inner plastic is removed.

That's basically what I figured. I already bought the class but haven't taken my windows apart due to rainy weather. Wish I could find replacement parts for mine but not only are they hard to find, it also looks like a pain to replace so I just want to make it one solid piece.

 

personally i like the split back window on the 2 doors. i'm guessing you don't like it. Why?

 

I like it but it's hard to find parts for. Not only do both the latches just open by themselves from being warn out but someone broke into my jeep by breaking part of it from the outside. The part that's broken holds the window in place and with it being bent, it makes the window allow water in slowly in the winter.
