Default pwr steering pulley

Anybody notice a cut line through the PS pulley?

Was just inspecting my belt and pulleys and noticed what looks like a cut line through the rivit part of the PS pulley.
Now it does not look cracked more of just a line like you would see on a lock washer where the metal meets but does not connect.

This line or whatever i see, does not go all the way through, and pulley does not look damage..

Any words of advice oh great cherokee mastrs?

I noticed it a few years ago too. I always keep a spare belt, so no worries.

yep, just change the last one. It was all cracked and squealing.
Put the new one on, and been slowing make it more tight intill I no longer heard the squeal. mostly happen when i run a/c.
But noticed that small line/notch in the Pwr steering pulley, and said to myself that could possibly catch on a cracked belt and tear it apart.
