PWR Steering leak
I just got my 1995 Sport. 4.0
The guy I bought it from was honest, and showed me the power steering was leaking right where the hose goes into the top of the box. Is that just the hose that is bad? Looks kind of odd there. It is wet right there, right where it bolts down to the top of the box.

Same thing with my 2000 I was putting a quart of power steering fluid in every couple weeks finally decided it was time to fix it. Haha
Got a new hose from O'reily for about 7 bucks and wala.

Thanks. I will take a closer look today. I just got it yesterday. A quick glance seemed odd to me. Looked like it was leaking at the threaded area. But the threaded area look odd. Hard to explain. Like it was too small for the box and leaking around the threads.

I took the time to check it. The trucks new to me. I just noticed it is the return line. Not the pressure line. It only has a small elbow line that threads onto the box. I tried to tighten it with no luck. Its leaking right between the line and fitting. Not the threaded part. I dont know if anyone sales that little "metal" return line ending. Not the hose. The small metal elbow on the end with the fitting. I am only seeing the pressure lines online.
