HAHA Wow i have never seen anything like that but i wouldnt do it, it looks like it would break if u put a spare tire up there or any weight at all

I wouldn't do it.......
Was it supporting anything? It doesn't break down to the point where it falls apart by itself, but it does become very brittle. After a few months of being in the sun, any PVC I've seen turns an offwhite/yellowish color and is fairly easy to break.

We had about 7 or 8 twelve foot tubes laying in the backyard supporting a cap for a truck bed. I would walk on them to pick up the cap (omg was that thing heavy! lol)

I was going to build one out of schedule 80 3/4",but by the time it would have been done it would be heavy and costly,but would have been strong. found a good metal one in the jy for $30,did a few mods and is just fine.
