Default PS blew sitting in my driveway

I had my jeep running to help charge up the battery, left the lights on to long while working on it.

Anyways, I went inside for a quick drink and when I came back out I see fluid dripping its way down. The Cap for my PS has a pinhole in the center of the cap and its spraying fluid out!

How do you blow the PS, sitting still?

What, besides a bad cap could cause this thing to go. I all about fixing things right when I find them. I dont want to get to the top of some mountain and have another cap blow.

Thanks, James

The pump reservoir isn't supposed to be pressurized. If fluid was spraying out of the cap you have a problem, but it's not the cap.

that "hole" is a Breather to keep the pump from Air Locking.....if its spewing out that hole you might have a pinched line.........or a bad pump.
