40 would work. It's a bit on the high side but it's good for gas mileage.

There's a trick some use to get the right pressure. You draw a line across the tread with chalk and then drive about 100 feet in a straight line. check the line. If it's wearing in the middle, too much air. If it's wearing on the outside, not enough air.

I use my dad's tire forumula that he's been using since HS to figure out my pressure. It gives me a ballpark estimate PSI and i've used it since day 1. It's TOP SECRET. If you beg enough, i'll share it.
