What I tell Mr. Law is look @ the new cars on the dealer ship lot and then you can give me a ticket, they are way past legal limit.

I did mention that. This was WAAAAY back when I had an oldsmobile and I went to Mr Law and asked about it. They said if it came from the factory with tint, it's ok. Aftermarket or self-applied: no.

That was like 10 years ago though....maybe it changed?

I was also wanting to chime in on road manners for the LTb's. There very resonably priced, but are they street worthy? JP Magazine done a write up last month said there's no stoppin them offroad but didn't have much to comment about the highway side.

i had a set of ltbs. they are ok on the street when they are new but once under half tread or so, they started to flat spot when it was cold. i just ran 5 less psi in my tires and they drove great for what they are. drove from denver to moab, wheeled, then back to denver and did 85 mph on the highway most of the time and the tires felt great.

keep in mind i have had many sets of bias tires and have had some really bad exper. with some. my 39.5 tsl's i used to have on my beast gave the worst, most dramatic death wobble i have ever hadat 30 mph!!!!

you can get good ones and bad ones!!!
