Hi, what about this silver thing on the relay block harness under the dash? I just had the doors open for about 30min (no lights on except the door ones) and this silver cylinder got pretty hot (not too hot to touch it, but hotter than warm). Also the battery voltage went down by about 0.3V in that period. Is both of this normal?

 

if thats a 2-wire relay its probally your flasher relay...turn them on to verify.

 

It has 3 connections. I don't believe it would be a relay since the relays are all sitting on that block (bottom right in the picture).

 

Bump - any idea what the silver cylinder is? Has a connector with three contacts.

No nothing, plain silver.

 

Can reach it without removing the knee blocker, pretty obvious. It gets hot too.
