Default Problems with my Jeep

I can't seem to figure out why the the air condition only blows out of the defrost vent. And also the cruise control won't engage. The light comes on but it won't set

Sounds like a vacuum problem. I know the hvac is controlled by vacuum and I believe the cruise is too.

X2^^... Follow the vacuum lines on the pass. side of the engine bay to the "jeep egg", behind the bumper, most are hard plastic lines, and tend to crack.

Also my transmission is showing problems. When I gas it it has problems shifting from third to fourth I think. It revs high and I have to let off the gas for it to switch. Dirty filter or worse?

t is vacuum, check the canister at the bumper, trace all vacuum lines. hvac directions are vacuum controlled so is cruise.

the shifting thing your describing kinda sounds like just needs a cable adjustment at the throttle body. but never hurts to do a flush
