Problem replacing door lock cylinder
I am trying to replace the door lock cylinder in a '91 Cherokee Laredo and having an issue.
I do not seem to be able to locate the retaining clip, I took a video of the inside of the assembly due to not being able to see while my hand was in and it appears the cylinder has been locked in with a large piece of metal.
Am I seeing correctly? I am linking the video below.
Any ideas on how to replace this freaking thing?
Thanks in advance.

all about perspective.
Though moving forward you may want to get yourself a FSM (Full service manual) Haynes or chilton shouldn't cost more than 10 or 12 bucks. there are also some online options. but they have all sorts of illustrations, specifications, detailed write ups etc.

She needs a lot of little things like locks, brackets, side mirrors and such. It was used as a farm vehicle for 10 years and mostly sat inside a barn so everything is dirty and stiff from lack of use.
I am ordering one right now, thanks again! That sounds like exactly what I need!
