Default Pressure sender

So about a week ago I changed the oil on my jeep and like a dumbass I killed the oil pressure sender I just installed a new one but it's still pegged beyond 80 anything I can do could it be a faulty sender?

You may have gotten the sender for an idiot light.

Possibly could have grabbed the wrong one I say just exchange it since its cake to replace

Delta, how much did you spend on the sender? The dummy light sender is much cheaper, while the gauge sender is something like 25-30.

It ran me 25.11 or something like that I'll jut tell them it might be defective and get another

to bring this back from the dead for future searches i got the canadian ecm model turns out it uses 2 pins and the american uses 1 pin just whent back and after weeks of searching i finaly figured it out the american one is black while the canadian one i grey
