Default pre lift install advice.

Im a new member and know all about using the search button, but i couldnt find anything with that option...I just bought a 3" lift kit from iron rock off road , so far i cant find a shop around the twin cities that will install it for less than 1500 bucks, so im going to tackle this project with some friends this week...i have a 90 jeep cherokee thats not rusty underneath, so hopefully i wont have frozen bolts etc....
you guys have any advice for the noob before i tear into this piece? anything tips to make this easier, ill appreciate.

my jeep is freakishly rust free underneath, all the bolts for everything look brand new, the stock shocks are pretty new as far as i can tell, whoever bought this new undercoated the crap out of this thing..hoping for a pain free install.
