I just picked up a 95 4.0 Engine rebuilt about 75,000 miles ago for my 00 with a cracked 0331 head I understand I'll have to get a header and make brackets for the coil pack along with swapping over my cam position sensor. I'm planning on doing new seals and gaskets too. My question is what else should I do before swapping the engine in? I don't daily my Jeep so I don't need to rush just want to do it right the first time.

 

If your cooling system is still original, now would be a great time for a refresh for just a few hundred dollars while you have it all apart anyway. New Mopar Waterpump, thermostat, hoses, fan clutch, Radiator, etc.

 

Thanks yeah I actually had the Radiator crack this summer so I already freshened up the cooling system.
