I had the freeze plug on the rear of the head blow this weekend on my 91 4.0, so i pulled the head. In trying to find new head bolts, I ran across the deal that the bolts with the studs on top are "no longer available" - according to Chrysler and it appears most online traffic. I work in auto parts and didn't want to accept that, so I ordered in the readily available 96 and up head set Felpro ES71102 and found that it is the same other than 12-point bolt heads and 2) of the shorter bolts in the new set have small dowel pins sticking up on the heads, but won't matter when they are mounted under the valve cover.
