Power windows won't work when hot outside.
For three years I have had this problem. All fall, winter and spring i have no problems with my power windows. But as soon as the temperature outside gets above 80 my power windows wont work.

I Googled, try this, see if the power window fuse is hot, if so the window motor winding is shorting and pulling too much current, but not enough to blow the fuse. If that's the case you need a new motor.

Also, you may have a corroded connector caused by rain seeping down the window glass and into the door interior, that could cause it to not work intermittently, take the door panel off and start checking things out.

I've had to pull the plastic tube off the lower window whip mechanism, changed to 3/8ID fuel line hose, cleaned the whip with we40 and then lubed liberally with gease then the new tube over. Also lubed the steel tube of the mechanism above the motor (there is a slot on the unseen side) with PB Blaster and white lithium grease. This keeps the mechanism running smoother, and as the panel is off to gain access insure your pins entering the power control switch block are clean and the litte metal tabs engage when you reassemble the connector to the switch block. I've currently go two of the four working on my 89 and with the little vent window I think I'm ahead of the game.

I HAVE THE FIX...
Mine do this too!!! Sometimes the power locks as well...
Soo here's how you temporaraly fix it:
Hit them.. give em a good punch. By that I mean the drivers door on a 97+
Permanant fix, take apart the main switch panel on the drivers door and clean all the contacts. The heat makes all the gunk become more gunky and clogs the contacts
