My power windows on my 85 cherokee don't work. I have checked fuses and relays but nothing. The window lock doesn't seem to work. The toggle switch on the door feels broken. It just flops up and down loosely. I think this may be why the windows wont work. How can I bypass the window lock switch? I have the switch pulled out of the door to get to the wires behind it. I tried splicing the two purple wires that look like they go to the switch. Am I splicing the right wires or should I be splicing some different wires. any body have a diagram and directions on which wires to splice to bypass the lock switch on an 85? Thanks
