Default power steering pump?

ok. i think my power steering is leaking . because the steering colom is soaked in something. there is a little puddle under the pump hose. it has a yellowish tint to the fluid. but how do i find out for sure. i know its something power steering. because it makes the noise when i turn . also. if its one of the hoses. how do i remove that. since its at an angle.

Degrease it and start over looking for the leak.

I guess it depends on what engine you have. Like I have an 85 with the 4 banger. "2.5 litre" I just replaced the pump last month, and I loosened the belt then took the bottom hose off with a box wrench on the nut. Then the top hose just has a normal hose clamp. If you don't know how to loosen the belt. use your ratchet on the back of the pump.
But thats an 85 It really helps when people put down what they have...

Nice and easy.
