power steering pump

Default power steering pump

The pulley on my PS pump is very loose and leaking very baddly. Is this a not to hard at home fix? Any any ballpark price on this fix would be awsome

im having that issue aswell. i threw some stop leak in it. and ive had to add a bit since then i havent noticed an issue. but mine wasnt leaking Very badly, was leaving some spots on the driveway tho

The bearing is probably going, the pump will most likely need to be replaced. Be careful reinstalling as too much belt tension wears out all pulley bearings faster

I emptied a 32 oz bottle of fluid with stop leak in about 35 miles
