Power steering leak
Sup peeps. I have a question in need of an answer. I have a leak at some point in my power steering system. Not sure where the leak is originating, but since I plan on keeping my xj for a while, anytime I work on a system, I try to replace whatever makes sense while Im there.
So my question is this: If I replace the PS pump, Fluid Reservoir, High Pressure Hose, and return line, will this ensure that no matter where the leak is, it will be taken care of?
Thanks!

I am in the exact same boat. My PS started leaking out of nowhere earlier last week. I have to top it off every ~4 days right now.
I am going to clean everything as best I can tomorrow and see if I can pinpoint the leak. If it is leaking from the lines, I think I am going to replace those first since I can get them for about $8 each on Rockauto. If the leak is still coming from the reservoir or pump, I will probably replace them both (res and pump at once) to avoid any further issues.
I am fairly certain it is not my steering gear though - the entire reservoir and both hoses are coated in PS fluid (sucks cause I had AMSOIL fluid in there and it ain't cheap).
I am actually going to let it leak for a bit longer because it seems to be flushing out the dirty fluid
