Power steering cooler?
i wheel my cherokee pretty hard mostly crawling. now my power steering works great drivin it around my property and up on teh trailer and right when i first get to where im goin. but after a few min of wheelin pretty hard it starts working interminetly(spelling?) it will go completly out and the wheel is super hard to turn and then if u gas it will work then the real hard again. its not low on fluid. and i dont anything like the pump or box is bad cuz it works fine. the only thing i can come up with is taht the fluid is getting super hot and thinning out cuz im using it so much. cuz its usually pretty twisted up when im turing and stuff. so do yall think that could be it? has any1 have this problem? and does any1 think runnin like a universal external tranny cooler on the return side of the pump would help? it would allow it to have more fluid to disipate the heat plus teh cooler. good idea?
Summit has has a cooler for your power steering but if you got the money your best bet is psc unit awesome works great have one on my f150 with 38s no trouble at all hope this helps
ill look into it. but i think you can pick up an agr pump for like 250. but if i can buy a 20 cooler and fix the problem i would much rather spend the bucks someehre else!

buy a small tranny cooler and run the PS through it, put it on the driver's side in front of the e-fan, wire the e-fan to an override switch, flip the switch on when crawling. done.
