Ehhh ok so i was kinda very stressed today and went to a open gravel lot and just unleashed all the stress and anger in the form of donuts, reverse 180s and drifting. (dont judge lol) anyways after i was relieved i went to pull into a parking lot with light for cooldown and check damage and pulling into a parking space my power steering was buzzing very loudly and noticed my oil pressure was low on the first line and temp was quite high. So worried i took it back home and popped the hood half way back and temps went back down and all and seemed my power steering was quieter but is still buzzing when turning. Did i just wreck my power steering pump? Its full of fluid.

Typically if a power steering pump is whining, it is wearing out. From what I can assume, a loud buzzing is a little more than a whining noise. Has your steering feel changed at all?

Hmm well seems to be a tad bit louder than it usually was but it is WAY quieter than it was.... Maybe some air got into the system? I did have it vibrating alot and bumping around. Or got to hot?

You mite want to do a power steering flush and put in a good oil in the pump . you can use a full synthetic dexron 6 or a good heavy duty power steering fluid . It can also help with the noise the pump is making .
