Power seats VS maunals seats...
I was looking into converting my manual seats to power and had a few questions. The power base if from a 98 and I am swapping it to an 01.
1. does it lessen headroom?
2. is there a computer I need to swap?
3. Do the cloth seats bolt on with no problems?
Anyone who can help is welcome to, I have researched and came up with very little...
Thanks,
Tyler

1. No
2. No, you just need to wire up the seat motor.
3. The cloth seats will bolt to the frame no problem. But you will be stuck with manual seat recline. The only thing that will be electric will be the rails, not the seat back.

try to grab the harness and a bit of length from the wires from the donor vehicle. makes hooking them up a breeze. also, makes it easy to remove the seats later, if you need to.
i just wired mine to the battery with an inline fuse. not sure if i used a relay or not. not likely...
