Hello! I own 1989 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer.

For a long time, I have been trying to fix my Jeep's cruise control.
My mechanic and I worked really hard to figure out what was wrong with it.
We replaced cruise control servo, and eventually brake light switch.

But, apparently we did not get the correct type of brake light switch.
We need the one with vacuum connector on it.

After some research we got these two part numbers.

25509432D, and

5600 2281 1 W/Cruise Control (Plunger Type w/Vac. & Elect. Conn.)

Now, I am not sure why the system came up with two part numbers...

Does anyone know where can I find the brake switch that I am desperately looking for?

Any info would be sincerely appreciated.

Any ideas? I travel long distance a lot.. so fixing my cruise control would help me out greatly

Standard Motors part number SLS-118 for brake switch They show pics on their website of both switches w/ cruise and w/o.

SMP also lists a SLS-234 cruise control release switch which crosses to the OE p/n 25509432.
