Since throwing a rod durring the winter I've not had much contact with my 92 XJ. Now she's in the shop getting her heart transplant and due out friday, I'm wondering if anyone could give me a ball park on what she'll be putting out in terms of hp/tq.

you my get 5 hp over stock
a little better top and bottom end power nothing neck snapping
the most power increase you will feel is a fresh motor compare to the old

It starts out with what 190hp so I would say maybe 20hp 210hp and 225tq maybe 25-30tq ? so 255tq max? These are just my uneducated opinions. You may bet less and hell you may get more but with out a dyno baseline and a dyno after we will never know.

reports are not good for power gain
the chips relie on un used power from retarded timing and fuel flow
the 4.0 uses most all of its available power already
throttle body and intake will give you the best bang for your buck
