The power pass. seat is stuck all the way forward and has since I have had it. All other functions work, tilt and contour. The up and down work and is on the same switch as back and forth. After inspecting, the swith plastic for back function is obviously broken. SO? In theory I could cut and splice the wires for back motion to the wires to switch for up and down and the seat would go back. Agree?I am looking for Yeas or Nays.

probably a $10 part at the junkyard, and probably find one on ebay. Give me a few months Im pulling my seats for some aftermarket seats and will sell parts off of it for you.

 

Looks like I'll be headin to the JY. But I would still think that someone has tried my theory.

 

it already broke, cant break it more worst that will happen is you will pop a fuse.
the way i understand what you wanna do when you press up and down the seat will go up and down and front and back? or your getting rid of the up and down feature for the front and back?

 

Get rid of up and down. I'm just looking for a quick fix.If I get back a bit it shouldnt have to move again.
