Power Locks and Power Windows. Yes, another person asking, but please read
Feel free to yell away, go ahead I know it's coming.

Better?
Before I get into the question/problem, Yes I know how to use the search feature. The problem is that there are hundreds of threads that show up that may have one or more of the words searched, yet are unrelated to my question/problem.
Jeep Details
1998 XJ Classic
Mostly stock other than RC lift kit and K&N CAI
The Problem/s:
The driver side power lock switch is intermittent. One min it will work fine, the next it's not doing anything.
The passenger side front window seems to be intermittent as well. Usually works fine from driver side controls, less reliable from passenger side control.
Through my searches I believe these problems to be coming from the driver side window lock button/switch. Would I be correct? Does this sound like the simple, jump the connectors bypass fix?
From the threads I've read my symptoms don't seem to fully match up with the normal set of problems.
Please Help, this is my first XJ and I would like to get it back to top notch running order.
Thanks

The window issue might be the driver's side lockout switch. That can be bypassed.
Another common issue is the wiring harness between the chassis and the doors. It flexes when the doors open/close and the wires break.

I pick up the jeep Thursday, so once I have it I'm going to try the bypass first then move on to other solutions if it still has issues.
I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some other common fixes.
