Default Power locks draining battery?

Hey guys. I’ve tried searching the forums but I can’t find any posts where people fix their issues and actually go back to update the thread.

Recently in the morning I’ll have to jumpstart my 95 XJ, so I did a test for parasitic draw and found that if I pull the IOD fuse the draw drops but I don’t have radio or power locks. I put the fuse back in and pulled the radio out, still have a draw. So to me that says there’s a short in the power lock wiring. Any ideas or any way to track that down? I’ve checked the wires going into the driver side door and I couldn’t feel any breaks.

Shorts blow fuses and burn wiring. They don't drain batteries.

There are quite a few things that are powered from that IOD fuse. You need a wiring diagram and some patience to find who the culprit is.
