Ok as if I already dont have my hands full with things to fix I went to put a new head unit in my 92 cherokee today and there is no power. Changed the fuses etc..upon looking theres a speaker conection hanging down next to some other harness that says elec test. Just short of pulling the dash apart Im lost it was bad enough that it took me forever to find someone who had the wireing harness for the jeep cherokee

 

If you don't want to pull the dash apart and find where the power wire is broke, run a new wire from your "switched" terminal on your fuze box up to the stereo. It's not that far or hard to run one. You'll want a switched source so your radio turns of when the key is pulled out.

 

ok so jump a leg from the fuse box sounds easy cause I clipped the spade term that was conecteted to the factory and hooked my ground there did everything by the diagrams and nothing so here we go and if its not a busted wire then theres another issue here
