Default Power cable help...

I'm new to this forum so wasn't sure where I should post this.

I just finished building my box for my 2 15" subs. I'm sending the wiring to the back of my '94 Jeep Cherokee. I'm stuck on the power cable though. I can't find anywhere to run it to the hood from inside. I tried the door-the outside-hood, but it was creating a large gap noticeable.

Does anyone know where to run this?

-Thx

i got a 93 and have lights and a cb hooked up so i know a spot for you. get your head near your brake pedal, idk if you have a standard or not but in any case check behind where your hood pop latch is. follow your hood pop line to the firewall. there might be a little rubber plug there, if there is just take it out and there it is. theres a hole there about almost 3/4 of an inch you should be able to run quite a few wires through there. its a little crowded tho so attatch a zip tie to it and run the zip tie through till you can grab it near your brake vacuum, after that you should be all set to run the wire however you want. good luck and welcome to cf from mass!

First choice for me would be to run the main power lead down the right-hand side of the vehicle, under the doorsill trim.

Second choice? Under the carpet down the transmission tunnel. You'll need a short electrician's fish tape for this one, unless you actually want to remove the carpet to get there... The centre console should hide most of it.
