Father-in-law has the Eastwood kit and they work great, we coated a D44 cover for a buddy's trail rig to see how durable it is and he actually dented the cover and the coating is still stuck fast. We did two coats chevy engine orange then a dark metalflake on top thinking that it would make chips really visable but they never have appeared.

granted its only been a week, but i painted mine and only the caps have a few flakes and i kind of half assed those because im planning on some aftermarket wheels soon. but ive driven on some dirt roads at good speeds, gone muddin, got em washed and scrubbed down good and more. thats just some rustoleum primer, rustoleum paint and one coat of clear coat.
just an idea but powder coating can get expensive
